Itinerary
Day 1
Leh to Niraq (driving 6 hours)
We will start driving in the morning towards Niraq Fotoksar Via SirSir La (4805m), in comfortable 4 whell drive private taxis. The road goes through astonishing and dramatic changes of landscape. We will stop for lunch at Fotoksar one of the most beautiful Village in the Valley. The route passes over the thrilling Sir-Sir pass at 4805m. We continue our drive to Niraq, camp and over night stay
Day 2
Niraq To Chilling (rafting)
This trip is for adrenaline seekers. There are some grade III-IV rapids on the way, as the river gets narrower until it enters a steep 18ft wide gap called the Gate rapid. We will have lunch at one of the most beautiful waterfall on the route and then the valley passes through spectacularly colored mountain formations all around. We will camp in Chilling and get ready for another day of adventure.
Day 3
Chilling to Nimmoo (rafting), back to Basgo or Leh
This is the last day on the river. It is a classic day for whitewater rafting with continuous grade 3 and 4 long rapids. Enjoy the beauty of Zanskar river until we reach the confluence with the Indus river. We continue the journey till Wet n Wild Explorations camp, you could rest a bit, have a snack, change into dry clothes. From there you will be dropped back to Leh or guest house in Basgo, where you will get time to process the expedition with all the emotions, beautiful memoriesn new friends and changes that brought in you.
